Boozhoo. My name is Barb Francis and I have been the Adult Education Teacher at the FACE program since 2013. Before that, I taught English, Math and History for 7 years at the Ojibwe School. I graduated with a degree in English and a degree in Teaching from the University of Minnesota Duluth. I live with my husband in Hermantown, MN. We have three grown children: a son in Denver, CO, a daughter in Bassett, NE and a daughter here in Duluth. In my spare time I work with a dog rescue in Minneapolis called Heading Home K9. Over the last 5 years I have fostered 20 dogs from high kill shelters down south and found them loving homes up north and currently have 4 dogs of my own. I truly believe in the FACE program mission to help parents and children learn together. Successful students become successful adults.
